Spacious and bright rental house in the Finnish Archipelago
Large windows bring light into this modern house designed as a glass workshop, located in Kimito Island (Kemiönsaari) in the Southern Finnish Archipelago. Tammikallio offers privacy on a plot bordering fields and forest, with easy access. You can easily reach Tammikallio by car, bus, or bicycle. By car, it takes about two hours from Helsinki and 45 minutes from Turku.
The services in the center of Kemiö, such as grocery stores and cafes, are just a few kilometers away. The surrounding area offers plenty to see and do, including the archipelago scenery, the ironworks village of Mathildedal, the old industrial setting of Taalintehdas, Söderlångvik Manor, and the spa in Kasnäs. There are also several beaches nearby, two golf courses, and a ski resort. For nature lovers, the Teijo National Park and the Archipelago National Park are within reach, along with the nearby Ekniemi nature trail and observation tower.
In addition to the bedroom, the house has a living room and dining area with an open kitchen. The house is modern and includes running water and an indoor toilet. It comfortably accommodates four to five people. The house features an electric sauna, a charcoal grill in the yard, a flat-screen TV in the living room, and a washing machine in the back room. The kitchen is equipped with basics: stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, and even a Nespresso machine. The bedroom has a double bed, the living room has a bed and a sofa bed. There’s also a cozy fireplace in the living room.
